OK, that’s a slight exaggeration.
But check this out: Scottish scientists have developed a biofuel based on by-products from whisky production! “Pot ale”, the liquid from the copper stills, and “draff”, the spent grains are used to produce butanol – which has 30% more output power than ethanol, the traditional biofuel. Butanol can also be used in conventional cars without any adaptions of the engine.
